The first chart below indicates that 19 corrections students, 13 of whom qualified for special education, registered an average grade level gain of 2.4 on the Gates MacGinitie Reading Test, Comprehension sub-set in the Read Right intervention program. The second chart reveals that the special education students averaged a grade level gain of 2.7.

Results from a 12-week Pilot at the Mission Creek Camp for Juvenile Offenders at Belfair, WA

The first chart below indicates that 17 corrections students, 8 of whom qualified for special education, registered an average grade level gain of 3.2 on the Gates MacGinitie Reading Test, Comprehension sub-set in the Read Right intervention program. The second chart reveals that the special education students averaged a grade level gain of 2.6.
